| www.jewishjesus.org - Camille I recently received a phone call from Camille who lives in Michigan. She has been wondering if it was scripturally okay for her to worship on the Sabbath and feasts, and according to the Jewish roots of our faith since she is not Jewish. In response to her quest, she began to search for Messianic Ministries on the internet. She found our web site and called me on the phone to talk. We talked for a short while and I was able to answer her questions and direct her how to find a Messianic Congregation near her. Please pray for Camille that God would lead her to the congregation He has for her. Bill found Messiah Beverly, who moved out of Binghamton, has been sharing with a Jewish man named Bill. He has gone to church with her, and wanted to meet me. We met and he shared that he is being drawn to Yeshua, but has a problem with the First of the Ten Commandments (You shall have no other God besides Me.). I gave him a copy of a few of my teachings that show the deity of Messiah, that God can take the form of man, and that God is "echad." "Echad" not only means one, but it also means united. It’s primary root means to unify and collect. This certainly teaches that while there is one God, He can manifest Himself as Father, Son and Spirit. I briefly went over the teachings with him. I then asked him to study them so that when we meet again we can talk about any questions he has. About a week later he came to hear me teach on Passover. Once again, he was moved by what I shared. Bill told me that he and Beverly were studying my teachings. A few days ago I received a phone call telling me that Bill was going to be baptized in Beverly’s church the next night! Please pray that Bill continues to get grounded in his new faith. Elmira College Last week I spoke at Elmira College. The group invested time in promoting my visit. The Jewish community took notice and was not happy! The Christian students received numerous comments from Jewish students expressing their displeasure in my visit. The Faculty Advisor for the group received several rude phone calls. One person told her I was a charlatan. A second person told her "Goldberg" was not my real name. A third person informed her that I was not really Jewish. Another Jewish lady (Roz) asked her what I was going to do when I spoke on campus. She showed Roz the information I mailed them about my teaching. The woman noted that most of what I was doing was exactly as she remembered. Then she noticed my letterhead and commented, "He lives two houses from where I grew up. And my father still lives there." Her dad is Bob, and is a little over 90 years old. We are good friends with him, and even met Roz once or twice. None of the Jewish students attended my presentation, but the students had some opportunities to share with them. That alone was worth the trip. Please pray that they would continue to have opportunities to share with Jewish students on campus. Goldberg Family Vinu Vinu is looking forward to visiting her parents in another week. Ravi April 14 Ravi will be having a State Meet for Bible Quiz. In Bible Quiz he has memorized the first eleven chapters of Acts. Ravi has studied all year long, is excited about quizzing, and meeting other kids who love God’s Word. Caleb In April, Caleb has two gymnastic competitions. One, in Binghamton, and another one in Bristol, CT. Asha She is practicing hard for her Spring Concert in Ballet. Reva Reva is developing a big interest in writing; she even wants to write "real" words. Gita Gita does a great job at counting. Ravi’s Round Up! I had a great time this month. My dad took me to every one of his Passover teachings and Seders; most of the times I got to help with the teaching. But, on April 5 I did my own Passover Seder, at the Jewish-Catholic Levy family. I spoke in front of almost 20 unbelievers. I practiced late the previous night, and all throughout the day, up until the time I spoke. After I spoke, a son-in-law of the Levy’s came, and I was able to share with him about the Passover. Afterwards, I gave him my dad’s testimony tract and pamphlet "Can I be Jewish and believe in Jesus?" I know God placed me there for a reason, and that He was using me that night. Please pray that all the Levy clan will come to know Yeshua as their Savior. Thanks This spring I had more Passover teachings than ever before. I not only had more love offerings, since I spoke more, I also had bigger offerings than ever before. God is wonderful. Please pray that God would continue to provide $1,800 every month so that we can continue to reach out in our community. Your prayers and/or missions support allow us to reach out via the internet and other ways. Thanks. Ron, Vinu, Ravi, Caleb, Asha, Gita & Reva Goldberg |
