Chanukah Party

On December 8 we celebrated Chanukah at our Saturday morning Service. We began with a few worship songs all having the theme
"light" since it was Chanukah. Then we sang a few Chanukah songs. A few kids helped tell the Chanukah story by acting in a short skit I wrote. We had Menorahs (candles) at each table. We joined together in blessing God for the things He has done, and lit the candles at each table. We then had a meal together and enjoyed desert with the candy that came out of our Chanukah Dreidle Pinata. Since our celebration was held in Port Crane (which is out in the country), the kids got to go outside and play in the snow, while the adults were able to remain inside where it was warm.

Every month I continue to receive a few email’s via the
"Ask the Rabbi" section of our website. I receive some questions from Jews who have not yet trusted in Yeshua, and Christians who are drawn to the Jewish roots of our faith in Yeshua. They have some great questions and do not have anybody they feel comfortable asking, but find safety asking via our website. Please pray that people would continue to write me via "Ask the Rabbi" and that God would use my responses to accomplish His purposes in their lives.

Goldberg Family

Asha had two performances of the Nutcracker in early December. Three friends from our congregation came out to see Asha in her Binghamton Performance. She is also getting two teeth pulled out. Gita and Reva are learning how to spell short words. For example, Gita knows how to spell hat. And Reva knows how to spell the. Gita and Reva actually typed these words on the computer themselves. I (Ron) am continuing to exercise several days a week so that I can avoid hurting myself. I’ve taken off a few pounds and my back is very appreciative. Last weekend I took the kids to Party City to see what they sell. Caleb saw a balloon, pinata, hat, and a few other items from the movie Pirates of the Carribean. Since his birthday is coming up in January he wants to get these items and have a Pirates of the Carribean theme. Ravi saw some swords that he really likes, and he is thinking about starting a collection of toy swords. Ravi is also participating in a Holiday Show for Synchronized swimming. Vinu got to go to a Mom’s Nite Out with other Home Schooling moms. She really enjoyed getting out with her friends.

Thanks

I continue to be in awe every time I see the financial report. Thank you so much for your generous giving to this ministry. Your prayers and/or financial support allow us to serve the people we do, both in person, and via the internet.
