| Rescue Mission The Homeless Coalition is an organization where different agencies work together to provide services to the homeless. The Chairman of the Homeless Coalition, and Mateo and myself (from the Rescue Mission) have spent a lot of time finding housing for homeless individuals, and transporting them to all the places they need to go. Since the Rescue Mission does not have a shelter yet, the Homeless Coalition has paid for many people to go to a local hotel. The Coalition has just ran out of money. On March 25 we will have a fundraiser for the Homeless Coalition. First, I would like to ask you to pray that we raise lots of money that evening. Second, I want to invite you to join us at Skate Estate. This is a great opportunity for you to have fun, and help our homeless neighbors at the same time. The cost is $8 (which includes skate rental), and all the money goes to a great cause! Finally, would you pray for God’s help in finding people housing during March. We won’t have any money until after March 25 so we really need God’s intervention right now. Franklin Graham Festival On February 26 we had a Leaders Rally at the Forum. Two workers from the BGEA told me that we had more people participate in our Leaders Rally than other cities with bigger populations. The BGEA staff is very encouraged. Please pray that this enthusiasm will continue, and that we will all be faithful to bring our friends and neighbors to the Festival so they can hear the Good News, and then receive Messiah themselves. Misty A few months ago Misty (who attends our services) was in a car accident. It caused muscle problems in her back. It’s bad enough she needs to use a cane to walk. A few weeks ago her muscles (all over her body) began shaking uncontrollably. Doctors have differing opinions about what it is, but it is definitely accident related. The trauma on the muscles have triggered something. Please pray for her healing and the needs of her family. www.jewishjesus.org The website has been helpful in reaching Jewish people. Some people are not yet ready to speak to someone face to face. Other Jews have come to faith, but have never met any other Messianic Jews. This winter I have corresponded with three Jewish people through the website. Two people who wrote me are Jewish, and recently came to faith in Messiah. They live in South America and found my website. I was able to answer some of their questions and refer them to Messianic Jewish Ministries in their cities. I also received a few emails from a Jewish man who is searching. He shared some honest questions and I was able to respond to them. These are people I will probably never see personally, but through the internet I was able to minister to them. Thank you for your prayer and/or financial support as it allows us to host a website, and reach out all over the world. Goldberg Family A friend gave us two tickets to a Broadway Play that was here in Binghamton. Vinu really enjoyed the show. It was a rare opportunity for the two of us to get out alone. Ravi, Caleb and Asha all did well in their Bible Competition last month. This month they will move on to District Finals. Reva and Gita are enjoying gymnastics and Art class at the Boy & Girls Club. All five kids had a great time at their Pine Derby races. Thanks In February, we received about $1,800. Please pray that God would continue to provide $1,800 every month so that we can continue to reach out in our community. Your prayers and/or missions support allow us to reach out via the internet and other ways. Thanks. Ron, Vinu, Ravi, Caleb, Asha, Gita & Reva Goldberg |
