Everybody in the City of Binghamton and Broome County have approved our plans for purchasing the building. In this building we will be able to provide housing for 32 men. The only thing we are now waiting for is the current owner to find a new building for him to move into. Once he moves, we’ll be ready to take possession. Our architect is able to go into this building to begin preparing for our renovations. Our goal is to get all the plans ready, so the day the building is empty we can go right to work. Please keep this in prayer. Shabbat Services Two congregants are each inviting a friend to come to services. These two people have some interest in coming, but have not made it out to a service yet. Please pray for God to work in their hearts and speak to them about their need to connect to a local body of believers. Goldberg Family Caleb did great at his gymnastics competition. He competed in four different areas, and in all four areas, his scores qualified for States. The only problem is; boys can’t compete in States. Ravi will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah on March 29. He is very excited about this. We are all excited that many people who do not yet know Yeshua are planning on coming. This includes friends as well as our relatives. Please pray that Ravi will enjoy this day, and that God would draw people onto Himself at this celebration. Reva and Gita love watching movies about twins. They tell me they are going to do some of the things they have seen in the movies. If this happens, we all might need extra prayer. Asha is having fun playing the recorder. She is taking lessons at Home School Co-op. Vinu is busy preparing for Ravi’s Bar Mitzvah. She has made several hundred meatballs and wants to invite every unbeliever she can find. The sanctuary is big enough, but not the fellowship hall. www.jewishjesus.org We consistently get visitors to our web site. But according to the statistics, the number of returning visitors is low. I’m excited about how many people are checking us out, but I would like to see the number of returning visitors increase. Since I am posting my teachings this is a good opportunity to minister to people. Please pray for wisdom in what we can do to increase the number of returning visitors.
Family Vacation Everyone had a great time on vacation. We enjoyed being in Myrtle Beach, especially when we knew Binghamton was being hit with a few winter (snow) storms. Vinu spent most of her mornings alone with God while walking on the beach, and lying in a hammock. We all enjoyed the hot tubs, and outdoor (heated) pools. A lot of time was spent relaxing in the hot tubs and pools. During our trip home we stopped at Walmart to eat lunch (we had food in our cooler). We were able to eat and kick around a ball behind the building. After lunch we felt the urge to eat ice cream so we bought a half gallon of Mocha Mudslide, got some plastic spoons, and ate it all right out of the box. I think the kids (and dad) would like to make this a family tradition. Some of the kids had ice cream all over their sleeves so I took them inside Walmart to clean them up. The mess was easy to clean up, so we hope we can convince mom to let this become a family tradition. Thanks I am so thankful for friends like you. God has been faithfully meeting our needs this year. Please pray that God would continue to provide at least $1,800 every month. Your prayers and/or missions support enable us to reach out in different ways. Thanks.
