Dear Rabbi.
As a non jewish fallower of YESHUA,am i subject to THE LAW? if not, shouldnt i still observe some traditions as YESHUA did? I feel a strong conviction that this is what he intended. Or am i way off the mark?  Scott

Hi Scott.
You are saved by putting your faith/trust/dependence in Yeshua, plain and simple. There is nothing else you can do to gain salvation. As a child of God you are called to obey the teachings of the Bible. Yeshua is now our sacrifice so you do not need to offer any other sacrifices to atone for your sins. There are some rules given specifically for the children of Israel (i.e., circumcision which makes you part of the Jewish people). The Feasts of the Lord given in Leviticus 23 are feasts of the "LORD." If you are a follower of the Lord you can follow them. What you need to do is go to the Bible to see what God Himself calls us to do to celebrate the Feasts. Not everything the Jewish community does is taught in the Bible. Certainly anything you see Yeshua doing in the Bible has to be fine for anyone to do.

Shalom,
Ron Goldberg
